Eligibility criteria
- Passed HSLC (Class 10) from SEBA or equivalent board
- Age: 18 to 26 years. SC/ST: +5 years, OBC: +3 years
- Must be a domicile of Assam
- Physical fitness as per prescribed standards
- Good eyesight required for field duty
Selection process
Stage 1 — Written Examination
GK, Reasoning, Assam GK · 80 marks · 90 minutes
Stage 2 — Physical Standard Test
Male: Height 163cm, Chest 80-85cm. Female: Height 150cm
Stage 3 — Physical Efficiency Test
1600m run in 6 minutes (male) / 800m in 4 minutes (female)
Stage 4 — Document Verification
Final verification + medical examination
