It started with a story we've all heard too many times in Northeast India. A candidate — qualified, prepared, deserving — missed an application deadline because the notification was buried on a department website that looked like it hadn't been updated since 2009. No alert. No reminder. No second chance.
Jobs in NE India are scattered across dozens of boards, commissions, NHM portals, district offices, and PDFs. Each has its own format, its own deadline logic, its own eligibility language that takes a law degree to decode. Coaching institutes exist only in Guwahati, Shillong, and Imphal. The aspirant in Karbi Anglong, Churachandpur, or Lunglei is working with one bar of 4G and a photocopied syllabus.
We sat down and asked: what would a truly caring platform look like? One that knew your education, your category, your state, your target exam — and surfaced only what was genuinely relevant to you?
