PAN / Aadhaar Format Validator
Catch PAN and Aadhaar formatting errors before submitting a government job application. The PAN check confirms the 10-character CBDT structure — three letters, a 4th letter encoding the entity type (P for individual, C for company, and so on), a 5th letter matching the surname initial, four digits, and a check letter. The Aadhaar check confirms the 12-digit UIDAI structure including the Verhoeff check-digit algorithm. Both checks are purely structural — no network call is made and no number is transmitted or stored.
Tip: Enter your PAN exactly as printed on your card. Letters are converted to uppercase automatically.
