Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Guwahati is an Institute of National Importance established in 2013 under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model of the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. Located at Bongora, Guwahati, Assam, it offers B.Tech programs in Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. Admissions are through JoSAA counselling based on JEE Main scores. The institute is one of twenty IIITs set up under the PPP scheme and is mentored by NIT Silchar as the mentor institution.
